Couldn’t ask for a better lunch on a beautiful day in Southport, NC! Upon arrival we were greeted by the nicest workers! The interior was filled with amazing products and beautiful decor! Definitely a popular spot in town, lots of people stopping in for lunch! While waiting we sat outside and had a beautiful view of Howe street! Perfect place if you are looking to have an amazing time and meet some unforgettable people! Way to go Southport Cheese Shop! You guys rocked it on a busy Saturday in Southport!!!!
My wife and I moved to Southport about two years ago. The Southport Cheese Shop has become one of our favorite places to shop and get lunch. Where do I start, amazing speciality items, the best cheese and steaks in this part of the state, friendly caring service and the subs OMG the subs are the best subs we have ever had. We have called on the shop to provide charcuterie, boards, and assorted sub plates with all sides needed for our Christmas and New Year’s parties the Quality and the service provided are always a 10/10.... In fact our holiday guests (family) praised everything that came from the Southport cheese shop. If you want the best food and service go to the Southport Cheese Shop, !!!! highly recommended !!!!
Their boards are stunning, the sandwiches are insanely delicious, and the New York bread is perfection. Super friendly staff make the whole experience even better. A must-visit spot for cheese lovers!
Besides over 30 types of fancy cheeses, they make delicious paninis. We like to pick up a couple to go, then take the ferry over to Fort Fisher for a picnic. Prices are very reasonable and the sandwiches are delicious. They also have fresh bread, bagels, and other baked goods. I tried coffee cake, and it was great.
I stopped by last week with some friends and had an awesome time! The cheese samples were delightful and the owners were knowledgeable and present. The shop is gorgeous and full of stuff you can't get anywhere else. We tried their ribeye steak and it was fantastic! Will be coming back for sure!
My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon having no idea what we wanted, other than to make our own charcuterie board. We picked out several cheeses and a pack of the Boar's Head charcuterie meats and the ladies behind the counter put this amazing box together for us! This store has excellent customer service and value for the quality of product. We will definitely make this a stop when we visit.
I stopped in to get some items for a snack board I am setting up for Mother’s Day & the ladies were all super helpful with getting me exactly what I needed while sticking to my budget. They even showed me exactly how to place the cheeses on my board & gave me ideas of fruits and nuts to add as well. Great experience and I will definitely be back!
The ladies here are so amazing and kind! The food here is awesome!!! They catered my wedding in November and everything they brought to the table was to die for! Highly recommend stopping in to get a sandwich as well! Love this place and will continue to support them! Pic of the “Piper” sandwich!
